Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

A Scripture Memorization Challenge for the New Year

A Scripture Memorization Challenge for the New Year

Scripture memorization is a topic that is very near and dear to my heart. It has been a life-line for me and my walk with Jesus over the last 2 decades. Scripture memorization has literally helped me through every season of life as I stored the most powerful weapon of warfare tucked deep inside of my heart; God's Word.

Earlier this year on The Better Mom I shared how scripture memorization changed my life; and it has. From building my faith to storing up God's Word for things to come; memorizing and hiding God's Word in my heart has produced nothing but positive, life-changing results. And it can for you, too!

Are you looking for a way that you can memorize God's Word that will work for the busy season of life you are in as a mom? Would you benefit from a realistic, low-pressure memorization plan? Is hiding God's Word in your heart a goal you have for your life?

I can relate.

And I am excited to invite you to come and join me in a realistic and totally doable year-long Scripture memory challenge with 1,800+ other women. The great thing about this challenge is that you can do it at your own pace but will have a group for accountability and encouragement.

3 Things You Can Gain From Memorizing Scripture

1. The ability to hear God's voice more clearly. This is something that not only blesses our personal life but the lives of our children, spouse, extended family, friends, and those God has called us to minister to. I cannot express how this one thing, building my faith by memorizing the Word, has transformed my entire life.

2. Positive changes in your thought-life and character. Because God's Word transforms our heart, as we memorize His Word we will begin to change our behavior to be more like Him. Memorizing Scripture has helped me over come many tough character issues and circumstances in life. I honestly don't know where I'd be without it!

3. Battle ready when you most need it. As the wife of an Active Duty soldier, one thing I am well versed in is being "battle ready". Scripture memorization gives us the discipline and tools to be ready for spiritual battle (aka warfare) at any given time. Even on days where we haven't had the time to read the Word or maybe not even the clear mind to pray; because we've stored God's Word in our heart it is there and ready to access. This has blessed me on countless occasions where my flesh was weak but my spirit was ready!

If you are looking to memorize more of God's Word this year, I encourage you to grab a copy of Matters of the Heart: a 52-week Scripture Memorization Journey for Women for you and a friend. Not only will you personally benefit from the journey you will be a greater influence and light to those around you. And the best part is that it can become a family affair that will reap rewards all the way into eternity!

Looking forward to 2017!

xoxo, Carlie Kercheval
