Fair Trade Friday...what is it?

Simply put, fair trade is a paying people in impoverished countries fair wages for their work,  are working in fair conditions and being certain a child isn't sacrificing their education to do the work.

When we purchase products that are fair trade, we help keep food on the table, roofs over heads, and children in school of the artisans who made them.

The Fair Trade Friday Club was created so that we can enjoy the beautiful products regularly; and families can receive an income regularly. The items in the box are fairly traded and provide employment to women all over the world. Plus, they are super cute!

So, how does it work?

Simple.

You sign up for the Fair Trade Friday Club and each month a box will be delivered to your door with beautiful items inside, just like the above photo which was from the box I received. You can keep some for yourself and gift some to friends.

If you like earrings, they also have an Earring of the Month Club. It serves the same purpose as the Fair Trade Friday boxes, except you get a pair of earrings each month instead.
