Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

Take Courage: Overcoming Anxiety (FREE "Take Courage" ebook offer—24 hours only!)

Take-CourageLR Anxiety. Fear. Panic. Despair.

We've all known them in moderation. After all, we're moms; we have a few things to worry about.

But some of us are controlled and defined by them. We wonder if the darkness will swallow us completely.

Twelve years ago, I belonged in the first category…

I arrived on the mission field with my husband, eager to parent the children we were adopting, ready to take on the world. There were normal concerns, but my faith was strong.

And then life in a fourth-world country wore me down. Day after day in the heat with twin toddlers, the challenges of our son’s special needs, a third, fourth, and eventually fifth baby, not to mention issues like corruption, coups, thieves, gunshots, and finally an earthquake… It all added up.

My category shifted, and I entered a world of darkness I’d never known.

Though your experiences differ from mine, you too may understand trauma, physical, emotional, and spiritual exhaustion.

You may know panic, depression, and anxiety all too well.

Like me, you have likely come to understand that there is no instant cure.

But I pray that like me, you have found the Source of courage in the middle of the storm.

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” (Psalm 62:5, 8)

No, God does not offer a magic formula, but the hope He does offer is profound, practical, and eternal.

I would love to share what He's taught me about spiritual, mental, and physical recovery through my new ebook, Take Courage: Choosing faith on my journey of fear.

Take-CourageLR

This brief, two-part ebook shares the realities of my brokenness as well as Christ's transformational power.

It's my prayer that through reading it, your hope will be renewed... that you will be equipped to make your own spiritual, mental, and physical choices of courage.

And in this very moment, let Jesus' words bring peace to your turbulent heart...

"In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

(John 16:33)

 Blessings,

Jennifer Ebenhack
