Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

Memory Making with Project Life

I have been scrapbooking since the year 2000.  My oldest son was 2 at the time and I just fell in love with putting my pictures in an album with fun decorations and lots of storytelling!  I had some friends that fell in love with it as much as me and we spent several years making beautiful scrapbooks.   I believed so much in creating a legacy for my kids, and to have OUR story told on pages with our pictures. Fast forward many years later and 2 more kids in the mix and I was starting to get  more and more behind and  overwhelmed with all of it.  I wasn't only overwhelmed with the amount of pictures but also with the cost.  After buying special papers, stickers, albums, and much more my hobby was starting to get VERY expensive!

A couple years back I was reading a blog where a mom talked about working on her scrapbook using Project Life by Becky Higgins!  I fell in LOVE with the concept and knew it was my answer.

I now have a way of keeping the memories preserved and the stories told without the weight of decorating and layouts.  I just pop my pictures in and voila a story is told.  The company is growing and there is now many options for making a Project Life Album-where you can add more and do very fancy layouts (for you creative ones out there)  But don't get lost it all of that if you are just looking to stay simple.  An album and kit and a pen are ALL you need to have a masterpiece!

Becky Higgins was also reminding me how I need to get my day to day life documented, not just trips and big events but also the messes, books we read, gas prices, and everyday living.  (Think Instagram)

This project has really been so great for my family, every person in our house is loving seeing our week to week chronicled in our album and all that we are including. At the end of the year we will be able to see our life each year, the good, the bad and the ugly!

Jessica at The Mom Creative posts a meme every Tuesday where you can show off your pages on your blog and link in.  Becky Higgins also has a blog and you get to see many ideas from her creative team all the time.  If you are looking for a simple, beautiful way to share your stories and your legacy Project Life is your answer!

I have a photo idea/Project Life Pinterest Board I would love for you to follow and please if you are on instagram follow me there too!

Do you scrapbook or keep memory making journals?  I would love to hear what you do with your pictures and stories.

Blessings,

Angela
