I forget sometimes.
A spilled drink brings frustration. Chores left undone arouse anger. A yell for “mama” from the back of the house makes me want to hide in my closet with the music up really loud so I can’t hear it one. more.time. And the guilt and condemnation come rolling in. I’ll never get better at this; I’m still selfish and will never change.
