Woman of God, Sweet Friend, Mom Mentor

I am thrilled to introduce to you an amazing woman of God, friend, and mom mentor, Sally Clarkson.

Sally Clarkson is the mother of four children, a popular conference speaker, and the author of numerous books and articles on Christian motherhood and parenting, including The Mission of Motherhood, The Ministry of Motherhood, Seasons of a Mother’s Heart, The Mom Walk, and Dancing with My Father.

In 1994, she and Clay started Whole Heart Ministries to encourage and equip Christian parents to raise wholehearted Christian children. Since 1998, Sally has ministered to thousands of mothers through Mom Heart Conferences, and more recently through her blogs, ITakeJoy.com (for Christian women) and MomHeart.org (for Christian mothers). She has spoken across the U.S. and on four continents, and her books have been translated into six languages.

Sally’s messages are drawn from her own full life as a mother of four children for 26 years, and from her walk with God for 36 years in ministry, missions, marriage, and family. Discipleship is the heartbeat of Sally’s life, whether it is in teaching and motivating other women, or in training and instructing her own children.

I remember when I was a young mom, the very first book I read was The Mission of Motherhood: Touching Your Child's Heart for Eternity by Sally Clarkson.  It changed my life.   I found God's truth spoken so clearly regarding my role as a mom. I found direction and guidance at a pivotal point in my life.  From that moment on, I was on a mission.  I was on a mission to cultivate a home and a family with a purpose to raise Godly children, who would impact the world for Christ.  I had the privilege last weekend to spend some significant time with my sweet friend, Sally Clarkson.  She is the real deal ladies!  Her heart beats for you.  Her heart beats for moms who are aching and longing for direction, guidance, and purpose.  Her ministry is for you and for me.

After much prayer, dreaming, planning, and lots of chatting :), we realized that our vision was the same.  So guess what???? Sally Clarkson will be joining The Better Mom team as a monthly contributor!  We are excited to make available many of her resources and insights from Wholeheart Ministries and Momheart. We are thrilled about this partnership and her involvement with The Better Mom!
