Hi, friend!

Hi friend! I am so glad you have stopped by the site. We have such a wonderful community of moms here and we would LOVE for you to join us as we share life and learn together!

A Fun Spring Bible Study for Moms and Kids!

A Fun Spring Bible Study for Moms and Kids!

The Good Morning Girls are about to begin their new spring Bible study through the gospel of Luke.

This study will begin on Monday, March 13th and run for 5 weeks.

It is perfectly timed to focus on the life and love of Jesus and lead us right up to His death and Resurrection, at the same time that we will be celebrating Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday in our own lives.

Being in God's word daily will change the entire course of our lives.

Good Morning Girls provide free weekly resources including the weekly Bible reading plans, discussion and reflection questions, a meditation and memory verse of the week and more!

They also provide an optional journal.  Inside the journal you will find:

*An explanation of how to use the signature SOAK method of the GMG's
*The GMG Coloring Chart
*An Introduction and Background to the Book of Luke
* The verse of the day each day
*A Daily Reflection Question
* Blank space for S.O.A.K.ing each chapter of the Book of Luke

Now – if you have little ones – here is the really fun part!

Pat Schwenk, from ForTheFamily.org, has created an easy and meaningful way to teach your kids the book of Luke.

The Dig for Kids is a great resource for families because it makes teaching children the Bible simple, fun, and interactive!

Each lesson is just one page that contains four main parts:

The Map – The Map is the overview of each lesson. It will tell you as a parent and your child what you will be studying.

The Dig – The Dig is the main passage of the Bible you will be reading. There are typically three or four review questions that will help with discussion and review.

The Treasure – The Treasure is the big idea of the passage you have just studied. Simply put, it is what you want your child to remember in one sentence.

The Display – Archaeologists go on a dig, find a treasure, and then put it on display for all to see. This is the basic idea behind the Display. It helps your child live out what he or she has just learned.

Early on in The Dig you will meet a character named Doc. He will be your expert and experienced tour guide. Through each Dig, Doc will help guide a child systematically through books of the Bible.

Throughout this study of Luke, parents and children will discover who Jesus is, how He lived, what He taught and why it matters for us today!

The Dig is perfect for moms (and dads) to use with your little ones, alongside your own personal study, through the book of Luke!

Take your little ones on this journey with you. You will be blessed!

I hope you will join us as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday.  There is no greater use of your time than being in God’s Word and in His presence.

I am here to encourage you each step of the way and the community here will inspire you and hold you accountable.

We serve a worthy Savior.

Walk with the King,

Courtney
